Marylebone Cricket Club has been collecting fine and decorative arts for over 250 years to adorn the Pavilion. However, as well as collecting the obvious cricket museum items such as bats and shirts from famous players, we continue to collect decorative objects whose design has been influenced by cricket and tell a wider social story. 

This truly unique session will be hosted by collections expert Heather Lomas.

The selection of decorative arts and equipment on display will include bats and balls, clothing, belt buckles, jewelry, trophies, and ceramics.

• The experience will begin with a visit to three of the Pavilion’s ‘Grand Rooms’ – the Members’ Writing Room, the Committee Room, and the Long Room to see some of the MCC’s best-known pieces of art, and to hear some of the history behind them
• Followed by a Champagne Reception in the Bowlers Bar, situated in the Grade II listed Pavilion.
• An exclusive behind the scenes look at the displayed collections and handling of objects in the MCC Museum.

Duration- 2 hours 

Guests may upgrade to a truly special Afternoon Tea experience in the iconic surroundings of the world famous Long Room,with commanding views over the Lord's outfield and the architecturally significant award winning J.P. Morgan Media Centre.
